Sex & Nudity: Despite being rated R for a scene of rape, such scene is not shown. A robber is seen pulling a gagged and tied up woman's skirt up, but we do not know if he actually rapes her or not, as no detail is shown, and the sequence is brief.
In a sequence, the main character removes all of his clothing, but the scene is dark, and only his bare chest and backside are shown. He is seen shirtless shortly after too, in bright light.
Violence & Gore: The violence is frequent, fundamental and strong in this movie, but usually not very graphic. However, several scenes are more intense and graphic in the director's cut.
There is a scene where a man is receiving the death sentence via lethal injection. The man screams in pain and agonizes for a few minutes before dying, because the mixture was incorrect. His body is tense and stained, and the veins become bloody red.
In a sequence, a man is prepared for torture by another man. He is tied up and paralyzed, and gets several injections. The other man begins the torture by cutting his leg, but this is offscreen, and the scene ends there. Later, his corpse is shown cut in different pieces, having been severed with different objects (saw, knife, cutter, etc.). The body is seen on a table, and the head on another table, but neither are in close-up. However, the torture scene is graphically discussed and explained later on.
A man is stabbed repeatedly in the neck with a steak bone. We see a lot of blood on the wall. The man who killed him is shown completely drenched in blood.
A man buried underground is shown dead.
Some gun shots kill a few people.
Pictures of a dead child are shown.
A man is punched several times in the face, then spits blood.
Several explosions occur, killing numerous people in their cars.
A woman is shot in the head, and lots of blood is shown on the floor (graphic).
A man is hit in the head with a baseball bat, and then twice in the ribs as he is lying on the floor.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: This movie is focused on violence, murder, revenge, and one man's twisted sense of justice.
People bothered by violence and sickened by torture might find some scenes disturbing.
Although the torture sequence is not shown in detail, the setup is very intense and suggestive; also, a DVD of the sequence is sent to a little girl later on and she views it (also suggested and not shown).
The death of a certain woman is very sudden, unexpected, intense, and graphic.
A man picks up a little girl and takes her into another room. It's implied that he kills her.
Story : Clyde Shelton (Gerard butler) is a family man whose wife & daughter were brutally murdered during a home invasion.When the killers are caught,nick rice ( Jamie foxx) a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor is assigned to the case.Against his will,rice is forced to offer one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice.FAST FORWARD TEN YEARS the man who got away with murder is found dead & Shelton coolly admits his guilt.then he issues a warning to rice: either fix the flawed justice system or key players in the trail will die.soon Shelton follows through on his threats,orchestrating a string of ingenious assassinations from his jail cell.now rice finds himself in a desperate race against time facing a deadly adversary who always seems to be one step ahead.
Likes : This film is awesome, i love Gerard butlers character in this its an awesome role,completely makes a joke of the justice system after he wife & kids were killed by a man that was let off the death sentence & set free,complete awesome the way he dose it behind the cell door,Jamie foxx character is good as well the way he try to figure out Gerard character motives,i just love the way he starts asking for thing before they get a confession from him for killing the guy that murder hes family.This movie really keeps you on the edge of your seat, and the main character Clyde really makes this movie something memorable and just extraordinary. You can compare Clyde to the Joker pretty much, but in my opinion 10 times better. Clyde devises sneaky and cunning ways by taking down his victims and the whole sense on whether he is the hero or villain also adds to the excitement. Jamie Fox also does a great job playing his character, a heroic yet corrupt lawyer.
There are a few scenes that will guaranteed make you laugh and a few scenes that will pretty much tell you that Clyde is just one kickbutt character, no questions about it. Every scene you will be wondering what will happen next, because you honestly won't know. The movie has a few twists and turns and will always keep you guessing. If you want to see something that is highly suspenseful, will keep you on the edge of your seat, and includes 2 very unique and questionable characters, then you must see this movie. Law Abiding Citizen will not disappoint.
Dislikes : There's nothing wrong i can say about this film it was a very good film.
Overall : If you like film with a twist & action this is a film to watch,Gerard & Jamie play an awesome role in this film they work well together.
Rating : Action 5 out of 5 stars for entertainment and overall film action & twist in the story 10 out of 10.
