The man of steel: 2013 superman with henry carvil
Im totally get the way this storyline is going for this new superman film 2013, people are saying why is he walking or why is he not flying why is he on a fishing boat, well if you read between the lines of the trailer its show you why: its clear that what the director has done is made a darker gritter storyline to what we normal see from other superman films, its also clear that the way the storyline is going here just by looking at the trailer, is that he came to earth but he hasnt got he powers yet but he wants to live as a human, if you listen to what kevin costner & Russel Crowe is say it basically say he can live as a human as long as he wants but there will come a day that he has to make a choice iver stay as a human & live out the rest of he's life as a human or become the hero the world needs.......this is why your seeing him on a fish boat living out he life as a human until he realise that the world needs him, i think the way there protraying him as he's fighting a confict in he's head dose he stay as a human or dose the world need him to be more that the way this trailer is telling the storyline,it look like it gone the way that the smallville series has gone where he's ignoring the powers he has because he want to live as a human until the day come's he has to make that choice.Also notice in the trailer when he flying notice the sound barrier cone's then the sonic boom as he reach top speed that show with the way the storyline is going, that this superman film will be the most realistic superman film made to date.

Gerry Barnaby's Film Review: Batman: Dark knight Rises
Genre: Action Crime Thriller, contain strong violence & strong language maynot be suitable for anyone under 15.

Story: It has been eight years since Batman vanished into the night, turning, in that instant, from hero to fugitive. Assuming the blame for the death of D.A. Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon both hoped was the greater good. For a time the lie worked, as criminal activity in Gotham City was crushed under the weight of the anti-crime Dent Act. But everything will change with the arrival of a cunning cat burglar with a mysterious agenda. Far more dangerous, however, is the emergence of Bane, a masked terrorist whose ruthless plans for Gotham drive Bruce out of his self-imposed exile. But even if he dons the cape and cowl again, Batman may be no match for Bane.
Likes : This film lived up to the hype,this was a masterpiece for maybe the last batman film but it may not be that last time we see a batman film.Christian Bale Returns as the dark knight/bruce Wayne who blame him self & taking the blame for dent death has to one again become batman but this time has seriously come up against one of the worst enemies in the batman world bane a far more powerful & superior force to be reckoned with played by Tom Hardy now Tom Hardy was seriously bulky for this role as bane to he's normal thin muscle six pack body you normal see on him which really pulled it off as for him playing bane.He brought this cold,malice if anyone stands in he way or betray him he would kill you with out warning type of guy which was well played,this film also show the back story of bane which i really liked it gave he's character more menace & meaning to the storyline.The beautiful Anne Hathaway plays Selina Kyle / Cat woman now Ive heard a lot of people saying the cat suit wasn't good on her & she was to skinny for the role,well to be honest these people haven't got a clue what there going on about because she pull catwoman off perfectly in this film that suit just made her look even more sexier, she brought to the character of cat woman this type of person that has had everything taken from her & her life has been hard all her life everyone treating her wrong, so she became a cat burglar know as cat woman she really pulled it off as well, it was more believable than the other actress's that have played cat woman.Marion Cotillard very beautiful plays Miranda who care more about clear energy for the world than the politic of governments, her character in the film become more reliving as the film goes on,but this is the first time Ive seen Marion Cotillard in a film & dam she beautiful.Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays John Blake now here a name you should look out for in the near future if another film is made i cant say why because most people haven't seen the film yet so your just have to see the film to find out, he's character plays this hard nose cop that really dig deep in to thing which get him in slight trouble because it a maverick way of being a cop but he got all the trait to be something more from the way he's character developed through out the film.Gary Oldman returns as Commissioner James Gordon now this return of this character he play the role as a man hurting & torn apart that he had to keep the secret of harvey dent/two face death for the sack of the city after what happen in the dark knight film with Gordon family.He's still got this flare in him for standing up for what right, that what i like about he's character he wont be corrupted by greed or politics that most of the other police officer are.Michael Caine returns as Alfred now i feel sorry for this guy because he seen two people he loved be buried & having to bring up bruce Wayne he worries that he's going to loss another of Wayne family due to he actives as batman,he really Tell's the truth in this film to how he feels which showed character in Alfred because he Love's bruce as a son.Cillian Murphy returns as Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow in a small cameo role as the jury & executioner for bane court of justice when he took over Gotham.Liam Neeson return as Ra's Al Ghul cameo role only.Morgan Freeman Returns as the role of Lucius Fox science division tech that help batman with the tech & vehicle,his character get caught up in all the madness that bane is cause through out the city.The thing about this film Which probably a lot of people wont understand about is that this is the beginning of a legend like all hero there fear,hunted for being a vigilante's until there come a day when the city is under a massive treat that they cant deal with & it this time when the hero saves them they realise the hero for who he is this is how the film portray the legend of batman,to become the hero that everyone need he must face he's own fears & over come a superior force to become the hero they want that is what i love about this film.also there are a few twists in the storyline with some surprise that you would of seen coming,but there is a clue to the next hero to step up in the film its self the clue's are there i wont say who because there are people that haven't seen this film yet so your have to watch the film to find out.But this film was a mix of the first Batman Begin & Batman: Dark knight & i love the bat wing vehicle as well.
Dislike: Well the only thing really was that it wasn't as fast paced as the other two film it was a little slow in places.the other thing as well all these fake posters of the film that show characters that weren't in the film was stupid putting them out unless there clue's for another film.
Overall : Fantastically made film, a little slow in places but action scene are balanced, storyline twists that you real can see coming which i was in pressed with normal i see them coming,all round well worth film watching.
Rating: 5 out of 5 for entertainment, 8 out of 10 for storyline/character portrayal

Gerry Barnaby's Film Review: The Three stooges
Genre: Comedy, dose contain strong comedey violnce that may not be suitable for anyone under 15.

Story: Left on a nun's doorstep, Larry, Curly and Moe grow up finger-poking, nyuk-nyuking and woo-woo-wooing their way to uncharted levels of knuckleheaded misadventure. Out to save their childhood home, only The Three Stooges could become embroiled in an oddball murder plot...while also stumbling into starring in a phenomenally successful TV reality show
Likes : Any one that born around the time of the orginal tv series three stooges will remmeber these three funny idoits. Watch this really made me laught in places,its that typical funny comic moment when there all hitting each other in a funny way that makes this funny. Chris Diamantopoulos play moe the kind of leader of the group, Will Sasso plays the muscle of the group who get use as a batting ram which is funny at time, Sean Hayes plays the smart but doppy one Larry,these three go on this journey to save the kids home in a funny style, i dont think ive laugh so much with a comedy film in my life, ya some moments were just stupid but it was a stupid funny that makes you laugh with this film, this has its moments where your laugh your head off but it a film that depends on your sense of humour because some people mite not find this film funny.The nuns them self are pretty funny as well special this strict one that dosent like the kids singing or playing around,she always getting hurt which is funny in some ways.
Dislike: Just some moments werent funny where overs were but its like i said it depends on your sense of humour.
Overall : Not a bad comedy has its moment that will laugh your head at just depend on your sense of humour.But it a good comedy to watch.
Rating: 4 out of 5 for comedy, 7 out of 10 for comedy entertainment.

Gerry Barnaby's Film Review: The Amazing Spider-man

Story: The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
Likes : Well what can i say, well i'm just completely stunned by a amazing & well filmed spider-man film, the balance between a serious film & comical moments was just spot on, even tho i think Tobey Maguire was a good peter Parker & spider-man i feel that Andrew Garfield plays peter Parker better & a more realistic spider-man than the original spider-man,his performance was so good you could feel the pain of losing someone he cared about the struggle to fit in at school as well, i think he bought a darker edge to spider-man & a more realistic role to the character of spider-man. Playing he's love interest the beautiful Emma Stone who plays Gwen Stacy who by far is so much better than Kirsten Dunst in the original films, Emma stone doesn't play this damsel in distress girl like Kirsten Dunst character she plays a role willing to put her self in danger to help peter complete he's mission which was a fantastic role & performance by Emma stone.Playing the villain in the film Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors aka The Lizard man, now in an interview Rhys ifan said he was a massive spider-man fan & to play a part in this film was a dream come true,now he's performance as Dr curt Conner & the lizard man was amazing the special effect of the lizard was so realistic you couldnt really tell it was C.G.I even tho it was that's what made this film all that amazing,he's character playing the Dr curt was driven mad when injecting the liquid into him self it was like a split personality evolved in he's mind which made he's performance & acting this role more believable to most villain in spider-man. playing peter Parker aunt & uncle Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben & Sally Field as Aunt May, these to actor were amazing in this film both have a lot of film between them for them to play these role was amazing, both performance by these brilliant actors was spot on you actually believe that they have been together for years it show a more family unit between them when peter was mess up.Now what i also loved is the fact they didn't go with the original webbing from the hands like in the first three film, they use the cartridge webbing which can fire up to a 1000 metres of webbing thanks to the genetically enhanced spiders in oscorp labs like you see in the cartoons which made it more realistic & its these spiders as you know that bite peter Parker to make him spider-man.also what i loved is what it so needed is a darker edge to the storyline like the batman dark knight films which made this film more realistic in every way.
Dislikes: absolutely nothing wrong with this movie apart from it could of been just a little longer
Overall : a well balance film between comical moment, action & emotional scenes, a world class film awesome acting performances & a worth watching,
