Likes : although the first film was the better one this Still is entertaining & has that pop corn entertaining. Meshach Taylor returns as well as the ultra flamboyant Hollywood. His character is probably the most likable in the movie, Not that William Ragsdale or the beautiful Kristy Swanson aren't that good but Taylor steals the show in this film.
You will find that this film is more about comedy then romance as it doesn't have the same romantic feel as the first film but it has more of the slap stick comical moments which make this still a great film to watch on a lazy afternoon.
Like Mannequin it starts off in another time and something happens like with Emmy getting sucked through a time portal of some kind through the tombs of her ancestors and then somehow being turned into a mannequin..by a magician puts a curse on a young maiden that a prince has fallen in love with for a thousand years or til true love that she will remain frozen...The blossoming story of love between Kristy Swanson and William Ragsdale is very sweet and as in Mannequin it ends with a unique rescue of true love that was different from the first film.
I found that the chemistry between Andrew McCarthy and Kim Cattrall in the first film was better but the chemistry between the characters Jason Williamson and Lady Jesse was ok but i just wasn't feeling the romance much with them really it was a little tame to be honest, I think it was a welcome touch because of that to have more of the comedy in this film which made it slight worth watching.
But it like this film your ive  going to like the cheesiness of this film or your going to dislike it depend of your taste of films but this still is a great film for what it is.

Dislikes : just didn't have the same feel as the first film because the first film was better for the romance side, but this dose have more comedy side so you might enjoy to watch.

Overall : Not a bad effort for a sequel not as good as the first film but still worth watching for the comedy.

Rating: 3.4 out of 5 for entertainment / 5.7 out of 10 for storyline/comedy
