Cert: it was given a 12A (13 cert), but i would say its a straight 15 cert just due to some scene mite be a little creepy & frighting to a 13 year old, not quiet a 18 because of the comedy side which balance's the horror in the film.
Parents advised to read before viewing film as some scene may contain scenes unsuitable for younger viewers.

An elderly zombie woman wears a long, V-neck dress that reveals cleavage.
Some human characters wear shorts and tank tops, rarely revealing cleavage.

Violence & Gore: A dozen zombies limp into a city and attack several men and women, knock them down and eat them with ripping sounds as we see blood in the zombies' mouths; a zombie bites a dead man in the throat and another in the forearm and we see blood flow until a woman with a rifle shoots three zombies several times and destroys them (no blood).A zombie tears flesh from his own face (only black soot is left and he has no blood). In several scenes, one zombie eats pieces of brain from a bag (the brain looks like a gray sponge); the last time he eats it, he spits it out and we see it splatter over his face and his chair.A skeleton eats a dead human on a fire escape landing and we see some blood around the human's throat; as the camera pans down, we hear ripping noises at street level and we see a hand fall onto a dumpster.Four scenes feature soldiers firing at zombies and skeleton creatures and many of the paranormal "people" fall, destroyed, but without blood; one skeleton creature convulses slightly before he becomes totally inanimate.We hear that a general's wife turned into a zombie and he shot her in the head.

Story: With much of the world's population now an undead horde, R is a young and introspective zombie. While fighting with and feeding on a human scavenger party, R meets Julie and feels an urge to protect her. What happens next is the beginning of a strangely warm relationship that allows R to begin regaining his humanity. As this change spreads through the local undead population like a virus, Julie and R eventually have to face a larger issue when the very nature of their friendship is challenged. Caught between the paranoid human forces and the ferocious "Bonies", zombies who are a mutual threat, R and Julie must find a way common bond bridge the differences each sides must overcome so that they all fight for a better world no one thought possible.
Likes : This wasnt a bad film if your in to the whole rom-com type film,its pretty clever how this film work with comedy & horror at the same time.Through out the film you notice that it becomes like a romance film comedy than a horror,with a few funny moments with a heart warming style.The thing that dose creepy me out is the zombie they call bonies,their not quiet skeletons but there zombies where the skin has been taken ripped off or fallen off their just skin & bone but very fast & creepy looking.The whole concept of this film is about zombies but its from a zombie point of view which revoles around the character called R played by Nicholas Hoult, he dosent know how he died but he knows he dead ya kind of strange when you think about it because he dead how can he be thinking.That is whats clever about this film it set a tone for the rest of the film as he meet & falls in love witha living girl Julie played by the beautiful Teresa Palmer who finds her self wondering why a zombie is talking to her & saved her life which sounds odd i know because that the whole storyline for the rest of the film,as it draw you in to keep watching to find out whats going on.As a horror teen comedy this wasnt a bad film to watch,altho alot of people will say this film was bad & not worth watching, i would say its still entertaining to watch for a quiet heart warming horror comedy yes i said heart warming to a horror comedy that one thing you dont hear me say that offen.
Dislikes : Nothing really wrong with this film to be honest but it not a brillaint film but a good one
Overall : if you like heart warming film,comedys & horror mix together your like this film,its all down to what you like real its a love or hate film.
