Gerry Barnaby's Film Review: Outlander

Story: In 709 AD, in the Iron Age, a spacecraft crashes in the Viking kingdom of Heorot, Norway, and the pilot Kainan (Jim Caviezel) survives. He turns the beacon on; learns the language and culture of the planet using a machine; and finds that the predator, Moorwen, that he was transporting, had escaped. While chasing the alien monster, he finds a village completely destroyed and is arrested by the warrior Wulfric, believing that he killed the locals - Kainan is brought to Heorot as a prisoner. Though both man and monster are seeking revenge for violence committed against them, Kainan leads the alliance to kill the Moorwen by fusing his advanced technology with the Viking's Iron Age weaponry.

Likes :  this film was awesome,think of lord of the rings,beowulf & alien all rolled in to one film.jim caviezel play kainan a pilot from a distance planet who after having he whole family & base destroyed by an alien called a moorwen an alien predator that intelligent smart uses light to affect it prey,i love the fact that it in a time 709 ad viking iron age,it set the tone of a sci-fi action film,John Hurt plays as Hrothgar the viking leader of the clan who befriend kainan after discovering the truth of why he's there,the beautiful Sophia Myles plays Freya hrothgar daughter a very tough,handle her self charter she plays her but with a feminine side.Ron Perlman plays Gunnar the other leader of he's clan that was destroyed by this thing,Jack Huston plays Wulfric i found his charter to be very urgent & self centred dose thing is own way but it the wrong way.The special effect like the space science & the atmosphere of the film was just spot on,special the special with the moorwen it real dose look like something you don't want to mess with it show intelligence as well which is awesome because most alien film all you see is a mindless killing machine but with this alien you see an amazing intelligent for hunting & stalking it prey.i think jim caviezel would be a good choice for john shephard in the mass effect game if they ever made it in to a film.

Dislikes : nothing to say bad about this film because is was awesome

Overall :  If you like sci-fi, action , adventure,horror film this is one not to miss awesome all the way through with a back storyline.

Story:  One of the most popular independent comic books of its decade was transformed into this dark, bloody adventure intended to launch a profitable superhero franchise. Michael Jai White stars as Al Simmons, a corrupt assassin betrayed and murdered by his evil government supervisor, Jason Wynn (Martin Sheen). Sent to Hell, Simmons is offered a chance to return to the earthly plane if he will become a "Hellspawn" ("Spawn" for short), one of many super-powered creatures assigned to encourage living souls along the path to damnation. Simmons hastily agrees to this deal and becomes a twisted, scarred version of his former self, living in a dingy alleyway, with no hope of regaining his life, as several years have passed and his wife Wanda (Theresa Randle) has married his best friend, Terry Fitzgerald (D.B. Sweeney). Despite the best efforts of his mentor, a demonic clown (John Leguizamo), Spawn performs mostly heroic acts, though he is not above seeking revenge on Wynn. Despite the film's middling box office take, plans for a sequel were announced. The same summer that Spawn was released, the comic was also the basis of a well-received cable TV series.

Likes : i love this film,its dark,violet,special effects are awesome for this type of film,the storyline is very good,Ive seen a lot of Micheal jai white films he an amazing marshal artist seeing him play spawn was a fitting role for him he suited it down to a tee, the story line of al simmons a solider working for a corrupted special government office was betrayed & sent to hell to lend the devils army,but kept his humanity through the love he had for his wife wanda played by theresa randle, the visual effect were just awesome special spawn suit of armour that with the cape he can use to blend in to anything he mind can control,it such a dark story line but an awesome storyline at that,john leguizamo star of romeo & juliet, super mario bros ,the pest & land of the dead was so funny playing the demon clown violator special when he dose he pom pom dance song spawny spawny he are man & he one liners like you've been violated girly man & every time a demon farts an angel loss's it wings.Ive seen john leguizamo play a lot of parts in film but this was he best performance by far he got that comical sense of humour in him which made he a good fit for the clown but i bet it was hard walking around like he had to do this role.Martin Sheen laying the evil criminal that sent al simmons to hell was very good playing this role,Melinda Clarke plays Melinda Clarke which there is just something about her that make her sexy & dangerous at the same time in this role,Miko Hughes plays the little boy zack who befriend spawn.this film is worth watching.Ive also seen the animated series on spawn very bloody/dark & violent as well.

Dislikes : The Devil Malebolgia the special effect could of been a little bit better more menacing

Overall :  if you like dark films,dark storyline,voilents & fantasy this is one film not to miss.

Likes :  Nicolas cage plays another bad ass charter milton who escapes hell just to rescue he's grand daughter love it,this film was just awesome,i love the fact he's shag some girl from the bar while getting in to a gun fight that was classic,i loved william fichtner charter the accountant hell's bounty hunter with a sarcastic sense of humor just funny as hell,Amber Heard very beautiful plays piper a waitress that get involed in a chase with milton to get his grand daughter back from a evil satan worshiper Jonah King played by Billy Burke who killed milton daughter.i love this film action all the way through from start to finish as he leave body in he's wake to get to jonah king,i love the actions there were some good scence.

Overall :  Rated R for strong brutal violence throughout, grisly images, some graphic sexual content, nudity and pervasive language,unmissable.

Story: Charlie St. Cloud has been given the gift of seeing his deceased brother after he was killed in a car crash, but when a new love interest is in trouble he must choose between saving a life or continuing to see his brother everyday.

Likes:  This film is so haunting but heart warming & beautifuly made,(zac efron) plays charlie st cloud performance in this film was just brillant,after the death of his little brother he was able to see the dead every day would play catch with he's bother until he meet a beautiful girl Tess Carroll played by the beautiful (Amanda Crew) capture his heart.This story will have you crying & laugh with joy & sadness,i found this film so heart warming i real love films like this you really feel for the charters in this film special when charlie on a race against time to save the life of someone he love it really dose bring tears to your eyes.

Dislikes:  i love this film nothing wrong with it.

Overall: if you love a good heart warming story this is one not to miss it haunting but beautifully made.

Story: After dense matter from an imploded white hole hits Earth, the planet's rotation is devastated. A group of government agents must locate a lost satellite network that is the world's last hope for survival.

Likes: Not bad for a b disaster movie,its not as good as the 2012 movie but it was a bad film,i like the storyline that metreor the size of a basket ball can puncter the earth through america & out of austria after being shot from a white hole deep in space causing the earth to stop & it magnetic force field stop threatening the earth to burn up,this was a good entertaining film to watch.even tho these type's of films have been done so many time it dose make you wonder if it could really happen & will 2012 really happen for us.Julia Benson Beautiful actress star of stargate universe play a scientist Chloe Edwards who unwittly get caught up in engry blast that cause's the earth to stop alone with John Streich ( Robert Knepper) they both race against time to stop the earth from doom.
  
Dislikes: even tho these film are good they scare me because it could happen.

Overall: if you like a good disaster movie,chao & nail biting sense this is one to watch.

Story: A man named Farmer (jason statham)  sets out to rescue his kidnapped wife Solana (Claire Forlani) and avenge the death of his son -- two acts committed by the Krugs, a race of animal-warriors who are controlled by the evil Gallian (Ray Liotta) a powerful sorcerer bend on destroying the world.

Likes:  I through at first this film going to really bad because it look low budget, but it turns out to be a fantastic film,it was like lord of ring meet king arthur awesomely filmed & good fight scenes, (jason statham) is always good in he's film playing the role as a man named farmer was just spot on,he had a hero/family man who has a destiny unknown to him.the love interested solana played by the beautiful (claire forlani) was good as always,(ray liotta) plays gillian an evil sorcerer who control the krug a weird troll like creatures that fight like men.ray liotta suits these role in films he's got that look for the villain of the story.John Rhys-Davies plays  Merrick a good sorcerer he performance was good, playing he's daughter Muriella ( Leelee Sobieski) who unwittingly bring the kingdom to an evil force gallian her performance is good,(Kristanna Loken) aka tx prototype terminator 3 plays one of the tree people who get involved in the war,(Burt Reynolds) legend in the film entertainment plays King Konreid,Matthew Lillard plays the half witted nephew Duke Fallow who want to rule the kingdom him self but need the help of gallian.all in all this film was good to watch awesome battle scences,good sword fights & a good battle ending with farmer & gallian.

Dislikes:  nothing about this film was bad,could of been a little buggit but not bad.

Overall:  if you like sword fighting,adventure & fantasy your love this film.

Likes: Wow what can i say about this film,it was just superb filmed two bothers both fighters torn apart by a broken father who was an alcoholic come face to face after not seeing each other for years,it took one fight for them to realise that they love each other as a family,just the best film Ive seen since million dollar baby,casting was solid you believed in there pain & struggle in life,Tom hardy star of (inception) performance was spot on fantastic actor who plays Tommy Conlon, he also is playing bane in the new batman film, Nick Nolte star of the hulk plays the father of the two bothers, Joel Edgerton plays Brendan Conlon a underdog school teacher who after being told they will loss the house decide to fight again, Jennifer Morrison plays Brendon wife Tess Conlon,Kurt Angle plays the undefeated champion of the mma tournament,Frank Grillo plays the trainer of Brendon (Frank Campana),this film was just amazing all the way through.

Dislikes: nothing to say about this film it was just superb made

Overall: unmissable film,worth watching solid casting,superbly filmed

Likes: Wow this film was so creepy,i love horror films like this,special the one sence where you see the ghost in the mirror when you saw ginger walk out of the bathroom the ghost pop it head out of the mirror & looked at her that was serious creepy it put a cold chill down my spin,i love the story line of this where a ghost vengeful spirit trapped in a box until its open buy the one that owns the box.Masiela Lusha stunning actress plays ginger matheson who is in love with jim duncan but he dosent know it yet,Stephen Colletti who plays jim duncan who unknow to him brought the box & unware of the danger they were in, the other actors in the film are- Jonathan 'Lil J' McDaniel -who plays Dixie a friend of jim & ginger, Dean Cain plays Robert who had the box first before getting rid of it after he's daughter was attack by the ghost, Katy Townsend plays dean cain daughter Ghost Hunter / Amy.This film was Good some pretty good gory sences to.

Dislikes: One little problem was it was a little slow & you did real see the ghost until half way through the film.

Overal: If you like a good ghost story or horror films this is one to watch it creepy & it will make you jump in places.

Story: Officially, Apollo 17, launched December 17th, 1972 was the last manned mission to the moon. But a year later, in December of 1973, two American astronauts were sent on a secret mission to the moon funded by the US Department of Defense. What you are about to see is the actual footage which the astronauts captured on that mission. While NASA denies its authenticity, others say it's the real reason we've never gone back to the moon.

Likes: Altho this is a reconstruction of what happened to apollo 18 fatal mission to the moon the american goverment covered up is it really real , because it really dose explain why we havent been to the moon since the last mission in 1972, many be they did incounter e.t live form on the moon that was extremely dangerous,maybe the first mission to the moon if it was real they found something because you know what goverments are like,something that big they cover up because of region if a life form was ever found the world region would collaspe they would have no control over us.but watching the film it was a little bit creep in places the acting was pretty good but weather it was real who knows.

Dislikes: One problem with this film is that its to dam slow there not enough sence where you see what the e.t life form is.

Overal: Weather you belive in goverment cover ups or belive that alien are out there this film really dose make you think way havent we been back there.

Story: Paleontologist Kate Lloyd has traveled to Antarctica for the expedition of her lifetime. Joining a Norwegian scientific team that has stumbled across an extraterrestrial ship buried in the ice, she discovers an organism that seems to have died in the crash eons ago. But it is about to wake up. Kate must join the crew's pilot, Carter, to keep the shape-shifting alien from killing them off one at a time. And in this vast, intense land, a parasite that can mimic anything it touches will pit human against human as it tries to survive and flourish.

Likes : This film was fantastic for a prequel,it answer a lot of questions on where the dog came from & what happen to the Norwegians in the first film with Kurt Russel. The special effect on the alien creature was just awesome,good thing about this film as well as it got a lot of twists & it make you think who is not human. One other thing i like is the story line of these two films is that an alien organism can mimic its self to perfect imitation into anything it consumes to survive.the cast was good as well, Mary Elizabeth Winstead seriously beautiful actress who plays Kate Lloyd a Paleontologist who get flown to the camp & discovers what the alien is doing, Other cast in the film where good aswell-Joel Edgerton who played Carter, Ulrich Thomsen-who plays Dr. Sander Halvorson,Eric Christian Olsen - who plays Adam Finch,Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje -who plays Jameson, Paul Braunstein- who plays Griggs, Trond Espen Seim- who plays Edvard Wolner, Kim Bubbs- who plays Juliette , Jørgen Langhelle -who plays Lars, Jan Gunnar Røise- who plays Olav,Stig Henrik Hoff-who plays Peder,Kristofer Hivju -who plays Jonas, Jo Adrian Haavind- who plays Henrik, Carsten Bjørnlund - Karl, Jonathan walker-Colin, this film was just awesome all the way through it kept you on the edge of your seat .

Dislikes : there's nothing i can say because this film was good

Overall: if you liked the first film from 1982 with Kurt Russel your love this prequel to that film,it an unmissable film full of suspense & terror.

Story : A horror-thriller centered on a woman living with "face-blindness" after surviving a serial killer's attack. As she lives with her condition, one in which facial features change each time she loses sight of them, the killer closes in. Anna (Jovovich) may be the only survivor of serial killer Tearjerk Jack's horrendous reign, but left with "face blindness," she is completely unable to identify him - or anyone else. Now, with only a loyal detective's (Julian McMahon) face familiar to her, she cannot trust anyone as she struggles to resume her normal life, and, plagued by fear and a vindictive Jack, struggles to survive.

Likes : This film was really good,kept you wondering who the killer was when would he strike, (milla jovovich) who plays anna who has a illness of face blindness cant see who people are because there face changes everytime she looks at them, it was a weird film to watch see there face change as to looked at them but it was a very good film watch.


Dislikes : Just a little slow

Likes : This Film wasnt to bad,(Daniel Craig) who plays Jake Lonergan wakes up in the middle of no where dosent know where is or what is name is & has a strange metal devise on his rist,but that just the start of he's problem,you later reliese that there alien force looking for gold but will destroy everything to get it, (Olivia Wilde) goregous as ever plays Ella Swenson who you find hold a secret thats she been hinding,(Harrison Ford) one of the most decarated actor ive seen plays Colonel Dolarhyde, Wood an old colonel of the war who lead a band of men that are not that good to people,(Abigail Spencer) (cameo) who plays alice jake's wife, (Ana de la Reguera) play's Maria the doc wife,(Sam Rockwell) who plays the doc seen him in a few other films not a bad actor,i like the way they all banded together to take down the aliens. The special effect were good it wasnt a bad film all round to watch.

Dislikes : Its the whole Alien & Cowboy thing for me even tho i wasnt a bad film to watch i find that weston & sc-fi dont mix well that much i give a for effort for trying something new but i thing if your going to mix themes you have to be smart about it because it mite not work.

Overall: If you love aliens & westons this film is for you,not bad for entertainment but not a amazing film,it not for all it depends on your taste of films really,but worth watch for entertainment.

Story : Arriving by boat at her family's Louisiana lake island cabin, Sara (Sara Paxton) and her friends quickly strip down to their swimsuits for a weekend of fun in the sun. But when star football player Malik (Sinqua Walls) stumbles from the salt-water lake with his arm torn off, the party mood quickly evaporates. Assuming the injury was caused by a freak wake-boarding accident, the group realizes they have to get Malik to a hospital on the other side of the lake, and fast. But as they set out in a tiny speedboat, the college friends discover the lake has been stocked with hundreds of massive, flesh-eating sharks! As they face one grisly death after another, Sara and the others struggle desperately to fend off the sharks, get help and stay alive long enough to reach the safety of dry land.

Likes : This film wasn't to bad it was a typical slasher film with teenager's fighting for there lives but with sharks & the one that put them there,i love shark film this one really make you think twice about going in to the water again,good thing as well they used really sharks in this film & not some mutated sharks like most other film like to do,so it wasn't a bad horror film to watch.There are some moments that make your jaw drop to the floor & make you squint & look away.

Dislikes : Only one thing really it was predictable on who the bad guys are in this film, i'm not on about the sharks.

Overall: well if you like watch people get eaten by sharks,love shark films this is one for you.

Story : Paranormal Activity 3 is set in 1988 when sisters Kristi and Katie are young (5 and 9, respectively). It is meant to chronicle the events that the girls cannot fully remember in the first two films – namely the demonic entity first coming to haunt them. The girls’ mom has a boyfriend, Dennis, who begins to film the phenomenon happening in their home. The mom, Julie, has decided not to have any more kids – much to the chagrin of her mother (the girls’ grandmother), Lois. A mysterious symbol drawn on a crawl space ceiling in the girls’ room leads Dennis to a book about a coven of witches in the 1930s who served demons by brain-washing girls of child-bearing age into having sons for the demon to collect, before wiping away the child-bearer’s memory of the event

Likes : not much to say about this film realy,other that the fact ya it scared the living crap out of me for the first hours of the film & that the sister in the first film was pretty hot , the only thing scary about this is i know that these things are real & do happen to unfortunate people who come across these things & it just a shame that they think by using a quig board to contact the ghost will work when all it does is give it power to hurt you,this third wasnt to bad with the camera work made it look real.

Dislikes : Iver got so many faults with this film,one its to slow & the ending serious it just made it unreal,watch the boyfriend on the floor having his back snaped by some unseen force seriously,ive seen better horror films,the other is the picture now you here them say that the picture they had was burned in a fire at there mums house so why was there no mention of a fire in this third one big mistake.

Overall: if you like these short of films your enjoy it but other wise dont waste your time because it was that good.

Story : Theseus is a mortal man chosen by Zeus to lead the fight against the ruthless King Hyperion, who is on a rampage across Greece to obtain a weapon that can destroy humanity. Theseus bent on vengence of the death of his mother by the hands of hyperion must discover his destiny & prove to become the godas champion.

Likes : This film was completely awesome, greek mythology action, blood, gods, titans all rolled into one film what more could you ask for,an all star performance was just spot on theseus who is played by (Henry Cavill) who is the new superman film man of steel bristish actor was fantastic seeing him in this role really shows how much of a fantastic actor he is & being the new superman he will do it justices, (Mickey Rourke) as king Hyperion was just awesome he played such an evil role with no mercy & no feelings because he lost his family & hated the gods for it. (Stephen Dorff) i did realise he was in this film he was playing Stavros a merchant thief he performance was also good,(Luke Evans) as the mighty Zeus was just an amazing performance who also played in the the new three musketeer. (Anne Day-Jones) as Aethra who was Theseus's mother who died at the hands of Hyperion, (Isabel Lucas) who played the god Athena serious kick ass against the titans,the fight scene was just awesomely filmed fast paced slow motion & bloody just awesome.(Kellan Lutz) as Poseidon you don't see him much but when you do he serious kicks ass as well, (Steve Byers) as Heracles you only see him in a few scene but the best scene was the fight with the titans. (Daniel Sharman) as Aries who saved Theseus from king Hyperion men,now that was a bloody scene watching him smash the heads of there shoulders man that was just blood thirsty.(Peter Stebbings) as Helios was good as well.(Freida Pinto) as Phaedra a future seer wow what a beautiful actress Ive seen her in a few over films but she looked good in this film.(John Hurt) as the old man aka Zeus performance was good,but this film just couldn't do anything wrong it was just a fantastic film from the maker of 300 they did a good job making this film.

Dislikes : nothing i can say

Overall: if you love greek mythology,bloody fight scene's,action & good acting this film is one to watch just an awesome film all the way through.

Story : In a future where people stop aging at 25, but are engineered to live only one more year, having the means to buy your way out of the situation is a shot at immortal youth. Here, Will Salas finds himself accused of murder and on the run with a hostage - a connection that becomes an important part of the way against the system.

Likes : This film was good,storyline was solid & i loved the way that at the age of 25 you stop ageing but it comes with a price,of having to work for the time so you can live before it runs outs, (Olivia Wilde) who played (Justin timberlakes) Will Salas mum Rachel Salas was gorgeous as ever so was was the beautiful (Amanda Seyfried) who played Sylvia Weis the daughter of Webb (Jesse Lee Soffer) who owns a million dollar company that control the time credits given out who own two centuries him self.this was such a good film,i think Justin timberlake is a good actor he suit this role in this type of film.(Cillian Murphy aka scarcrow in batman begin & star of red eye) who plays Raymond Leon a time enforcer was awesome he seem to fit the role of a commanding role as a leader.

Dislikes : There is two things it was a little slow & i think Olivia Wilde should of been it the film longer.

Overall: A worth watching film,if you like sc-fi thrillers

Story : Tintin and Captain Haddock set off on a treasure hunt for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock's ancestor. But someone else is in search of the ship.a hindden message that only a haddock knows that leads to a treasure of the unicorn but a sinister man is on the hunt to who will get there first.

Likes : my mum grow up on tin tin adventures when she was a little to see this on the big screen was good to see,i love the 3d animation it looked so real,there where some funny moments as well,ive never realy been in to tin tin but this film was not bad there mite be a few more adventure coming from this film.

Dislikes : not much i can say realy about it,it was a good film

Overall: A fantastic film to watch if your a tin tin fan

Story : Set in the near future,a washed out former boxer build robots where robot boxing is a top sport, a struggling promoter feels he's found a champion in a discarded robot. During his hopeful rise to the top, he discovers he has an 11-year-old son who wants to know his father.now the two set out a path to make a sparring robot become a champion.

Likes : i loved this film all the way through its like tranformers meets rocky,huge jackman charther was just awesome a washed out boxer look to make money through robot boxing to find that he has a son from a former partner that died, this film has moment that will make you cry to moment that will make you cheer on the small robot against the titans of the ring.this film was just awesome.

Dislikes : there not i didnt like about this film but there should be more like it.

Overall: A fantastic film to watch unmissable

Gerry Barnaby's Film Review: The Three Musketeers (2011)

Story : The hot-headed young D'Artagnan (Logan Lerman) joins forces with three rogue Musketeers (Matthew MacFadyen, Luke Evans and Ray Stevenson) in this reboot of Alexandre Dumas' story. They must stop the evil Richlieu (Christoph Waltz) and face off with Buckingham (Orlando Bloom) and the treacherous Milady (Milla Jovovich). The action adventure is given a state of the art update in 3-D.

Likes : I completely love this film,the fight scene were awesome,i love the way they brought the Victoria ages with a look of 21st century war fair with the use of De vinci's inventions that was awesome,Matthew macfedyen-Luke Evans & ray Stevenson were just awesome as the musketeers,there fight scene were just film brilliantly as they took down the kings guard & made them look like a bunch of rookies,its also funny in places with the one liners,milla jovovich was just awesome playing the evil milady.

Dislikes : The only thing was i was expecting a big fight scene at the end,but it did leave it open for another film to be made.

Overall: A must film to watch in 3d,beprepared for fight fight scene & action,one for all,all for one

Likes : this film is not to bad,teenage boy dont reliese he's a were wolf until its to late,ive watch the other howling film before this alot better for what it is,it not a bad were wolf film.

Dislikes : its a little slow but it ok,just that were wolf film are good but are done to death.

Likes : I loved this film, it makes you laugh your head because the penguins are so funny, they all have there own charcter's in them it such i beautifully made film, that will make you cry because it a heart warming film that it your emotions. Jim Carry is still as funny as ever.

Dislikes : nothing wrong about this film

Overall: If you love animal film, a heart warming story that would make you laugh & cry at the same time this is one to watch such a beautiful heart warming film that kids & family will enjoy.

Rating : 5 out of 5 for entertainment, 10 out of 10 for heart warming & funny film.

Likes : This film wasnt to bad could of been better,good fight sence,action not to bad,(lily collins) who plays karen looks hot,( taylor lautner) star of twilight as nathan harper played a good role in this film he's start to be a good up & coming star for the future.

 Dislikes : this film was good to start with get started good but the ending was crap i was expecting a big fight but a ending like that just left the film open it ruining the film for me.

Overall: If you like thrillers,action this is a film for you.

Gerry Barnaby's Film Review: Arena (2011)

Genre:   Action Thriller Contains , extreme bloody violence & fighting

Story : A fireman from Denver, David Lord (Kellan Lutz) all of a sudden gets into a car crash with his pregnant wife. The wife dies, Lord survives, and becomes an alcoholic. One night, a mysterious girl seduces him in a bar, and after a night with her, Lord wakes up in hell. By “hell”, I mean some facility, where many others like him are forced to participate in these brutal no-holds-barred gladiator-like fights to the death. All this is being broadcasted online to the paid members, and the whole system is being ruled by SLJ (Samuel L. Jackson himself!).
Now, Lord doesn’t know where he is, he is forced to fight for his life.

Likes : dam this film was good, blood, brutal fights, naked girls what more could you want, kellen lutz playing david lord was just awesome in the fight scenes,

Dislikes : a little to short not enough fight scenes should of been more

Overall: if you like brutal fights, bloody scenes, naked girls & entertainment this is one to watch.

Gerry Barnaby's Film Review : Grave Encounters (2011)

Genre : Horror documentary style, contains extreme paranormal theme & scare scenes

Story : Lance Preston and the crew of "Grave Encounters", a ghost-hunting reality television show, are shooting an episode inside the abandoned Collingwood Psychiatric Hospital, where unexplained phenomena has been reported for years. All in the name of good television, they voluntarily lock themselves inside the building for the night and begin a paranormal investigation, capturing everything on camera. They quickly realize that the building is more than just haunted - it is alive - and it has no intention of ever letting them leave. They find themselves lost in a labyrinth maze of endless hallways and corridors, terrorized by the ghosts of the former patients.

Likes : This was good a little slow to start with but it seriously got into it when thing seriously started to happen, it seriously scare's the crap out of you. with the sound of demons & atmosphere it serious brings the fear out of you

Dislikes : the only fact that was seriously doing my head in was the leader of the group was trying to act like the legendary zak bargan from ghost adventures but serious was not doing it as good as he dose.

Overall: if you want to be scared out of you wits & love a good horror film this is one to watch, its a roller coater in to madness of darkness.
