Story: A gang of ruthless highway killers kidnap a wealthy couple travelling cross country only to shockingly discover that things aren't what they seem & get more than they bargained for.
 
Likes : This film is really hard to review without giving away to much of the plot,but what i can hopefully not give away to much is what do you get when you cross a psychopath with a no good thief gang that are look for a quick fix of money...........you get this film complete mayhem of blood,gore & intense moments.It the type of film not where you get good vs evil, but evil vs evil type of film Luke Evans is perfect Ive seen him in a lot of other movies playing the good guy but this dam he's good at playing the bad guy as well; totally charismatic and captivating.His character Derek Magyar is terrifying as a psychopath.Laura Ramsey(cameo) is pretty good as the other female characters,Adelaide Clemens was good but i did find her character profile a little complex for acting skills she didn't really pull of the character that well but she still held her own.The storyline start of as any normal horror film a little slow at first ,you start to think OK this is just going to be other typical horror but then throws you a curve ball when you realise whats going on, it this point the blood & gore in the film starts to begin you start to realise that this is no ordinary horror, it has a twist which was brilliantly done,Ive got say this film was brilliant altho blood thirsty this was a brilliant edge fresh horror film from the director Ryûhei Kitamura.If you want a good horror i would say watch this because see Luke Evans playing this role was outstanding.
 
Dislikes : Adelaide Clemens she a good actress but she was wrong actress for this type of role,i don't think she got that strong herein victim type skills in her acting yet to be playing these roles.

Overall : Nasty & intense, blood & gore, brilliant twist, not your average horror & brilliantly done with a good twist at the end.
 
Rating: 4.7 out of 5 for entertainment / 8.3 out of 10 for twist in the storyline/horror theme.

Sex & Nudity: In the opening scene, a woman's breasts are shown close up for several seconds as she straddles a man. The man then gets up and walks into frame, his genitals are in full view for a few seconds, though they are poorly lit. In the first tape, a woman undresses. Her breasts are clearly visible for a few minutes. An implied sex scene ensues. A boy watches his sister have sex from a distance. He interrupts her though; nothing graphic shown. He later briefly masturbates in a sleeping bag. Pornographic sounds are heard from the TV.

Frightening/Intense Scenes: The movie is creepy and scary, but not as the first V/H/S it is toned down with sexuality but still high on blood and gore.The movie is intense and scary, especially Safe Haven segment which is very disturbing
 
Story: Searching for a missing student, two private investigators break into his house and find collection of VHS tapes. Viewing the horrific contents of each cassette, they realize there may be dark motives behind the student's disappearance.
 
Likes : I watched the first one of this film to be honest it wasn't that good, it was poorly made & just a little weird, but this one Ive got to say was an improvement but not much.I would warning you those that this version of VHS is very intense i mean intense & disturbing that it will probably make you feel sick after watching it if you don't like blood.Some scene are very bloody on gore special the safe heaven video section which was extremely blood thirsty & disturbing but was kind of funny at the end of it which was weird for what you've just seen before that.There is brief nudity at the begin where you see woman in a hotel room being films by a private investigator because the guy is cheating on hes wife.This VHS set apart from the first one because of it curtain dark sense of humour which gives this film an edge,but very frightening with some sense specially the alien abduction one so be warned this one is not for the faith hearted.It has that concept like creep show with a series of short films to show different horror directors on what they think would scare the audience & in some place i would say yes it would just due to its intensity.
 
Dislikes : The only thing i didn't like was it was a little over the top in gore,there was some sense that i just through was to disturbing.

Overall : If you like intense bloody & gore horror then this film is for you,if you don't like blood i wouldn't watch this film.

Likes : I dont think this film has got it fair due's because i think people are think that the concept of this is an all out action sc-fi film which it kind of is in some way.But the whole concept storyline revoles around family bond,will smith character Cypher Raige has lost he's way to be a father after the death of his daughter & seem to blame his son in some way but he just angry with him self for not being there for them,Jaden Smith character Kitai Raige has lost the will to be fearless after seeing his sister killed by the aliens.Through this film this survival adventure tests kitai courage & further strenghtens the bond between father & son.These two being father & son in real life really shows on screen with the acting just like he's father brilliant actor i couldnt see any fault in he acting.Ive gotta say that this film was brilliant made & very emotional at times special with one scene that brought me to tears because it was heart breaking,but along with some seriously intense moments really bring the fear factor into this film & the concept to be a ghoster is to learn not to fear as the aliens are blind but can sense fear.This film also had some stunning visual effects & special effects that really bring this film to life as a sc-fi film,with the back story of why they had to leave earth & the threat of the aliens was a brilliant touch to this film.
 
Dislikes : It can be little slow at times so be warned about that because if you not in to sc-fi films you mite not like this film as it is a little slow,but it had to be because the film would of been over before it started.

Overall :Brillaintly made,beautiful visual effects & perfect sc-fi theme concept.

Two men walk through a forest and look for a marijuana plot and we see them running through the woods with a six-foot-long blunt and they plan to sell it and buy a yacht.A woman under the influence of drugs crashes her car through French doors and tosses her key to a man telling him he was driving (in case the police asks.)
A doctor asks a man if he is in a punk rock band and getting high on drugs every night.
A scientist shows large vials of a drug that he says he gives to apes in a study.
Several people and a German shepherd dog are connected to a dreaming machine with tubes through which they receive a sedative (we see no needles or drugs.)

There are also meant-to-be comical scenes of parents punching and smacking children (both accidentally and on purpose).But it's all played for laughs.

Likes : There isn't much i can say i like about this movie, apart from the fact ya the first two films were funny,it did make me laugh with the slapstick humour comical jokes.Some scene people mite find funny where other will, it just depends on weather you like this film or not to weather your find it funny.
 
Dislikes : The reason why i don't find this film funny is the fact its over kill to many of these film have been done it just not as funny any more, this is the classic mistake of making to many film of the same genre under the name of scary movie.It stopped being funny after the second film, making more was just a complete waste of money & time for a film that has died.Yes we all love a good comedy film that make us laugh but seriously these need to stop being made because its just not funny any more but this is just my opinion.

Overall : Depend on weather you find this funny but it just wasn't as funny as the first film.

Movie News:Henry Cavill reveals his thoughts on introducing the JUSTICE LEAGUE, which villain should be their threat and Man of Steel sequel

 

During an interview with Jake Hamilton and talking to IGN, Henry Cavill reveals how he thinks the DC characters that make the Justice League should be introduced on screen and which threats would be a good idea to bring them together. I will say this, we all knew that DC was going to copy Marvel in the way of introduing characters in origins movies or adding multiple like Iron Man and Black Widow and Haweye and Thor.

“You have to introduce various characters so it’s not just like ‘Bam, the world’s full of godlike superheroes.’ You’d have to find them and introduce them through various movies.  And then bring them all together with a major threat that happens.” – Henry Cavill

“Whether that threat would be Doomsday or Braniac or whatever, we don’t know. But there would have to be a lot more storyline to have the audience be ok with an introduction to say Braniac of Doomsday.” – Henry Cavill

You can’t suddenly have a world full of gods, when one god has just arrived and the world is trying to get used to that idea, So, how do you get to that stage? But a ['Man of Steel'] sequel to continue the story would be amazing, and maybe start introducing some other things.” – Henry Cavill


Finally we get an actor that know what it takes to make a superhero film like the justice league, I complete agree with Henry Cavill on this not because he's playing superman but because he's right as an actor on what he's saying, because you cant just throw hero's into one film without making their own film's to introduce them to the world. You can put them into one film because I personally think as well it wouldn't work unless you have the base for all the character in their own film's before make one big film.

Movie News: Poltergeist is Getting a Reboot

If you've not ready seen a poltergeist movie its about a family that moved from a city to a quiet neighbourhood or so they fought they did, An ancient grave site wasn't removed & a very powerful evil spirit is awakened in a form of a poltergeist & finds an attraction with a young girl carol Ana because of her aura, she then taken from the world of the living to the underworld where it because a fight against evil for the family to get her back from the beast. Now this film spawned 3 film's, poltergeist, poltergeist 2:the other side, poltergeist 3 with the mirrors.

 

 

From what I've read-ed poltergeist reboot Filming will take place in Toronto, and could begin as early as September, if everything with the casting and script go according to plan.Director Gil Kenan has officially started the casting process for his reboot of Poltergeist. Bear in mind the character's in the reboot are being revamped like the Evil dead film, so we looking a different characters playing the role of the family Carol Ana character is being replaced with a young girl called Madison.Recent script by David Lindsay-Abaire follows a family the Bowen when they relocate to a new town to start over after father, Eric, loses his job. Their life is turned upside-down when their daughter, Madison, is kidnapped by the malevolent forces that appear in their new home.
Along with a different family, the rebooted version will feature other brand-new characters, including Carrigan Burke, a colorful TV personality who hosts Haunted House Cleaners, and his ex-wife, Dr. Brooke Powell, a local parapsychologist and professor and Burke’s ex-wife. Her team investigates the disappearance of Madison and the supernatural events that surround her abduction.

 

Sam Raimi, Robert G. Tapert, and Roy Lee are set to produce the reboot, Ive see Sam raimi do some creepy films like the The Grudge, Boogeyman, The Messengers,The Grudge 2, Drag Me to Hell, The Possession ,Evil Dead reboot so maybe just maybe we could be seeing a more creeper, nasty & darker version of poltergeist, But time will tell on this as it looks like it will be a 2015 or 2016 when we get to see this if filming is starting this September. 1.Man Of Skulls

Easily the most iconic shot from the latest trailer, the sight of Superman buried in a massive pile of skulls is extremely chilling. Going to go ahead and guess this is the end result of Zod's heat vision.We're picturing a group of humans surrounding Superman to protect him, before suffering the full wrath of the General.

2.Faora's Promise

"You will not win. For every human you save, we will kill a million more." Yeah, we don't particularly like those odds.

 

3.Heat Vision 1

Zod seems to be really enjoying himself here.
But, as a lifelong warrior who has suddenly found his body transformed into a living weapon, we imagine he would be. With power like this in he hands of some as evil as zod would make for a formal enemy  

4.Invasion Forces

This trailer fully reveals Zod's plan - to attack the earth until they give up Kal-El.

Anyone who wants to see how this might play out is advised to pick up Superman: Earth One, by J Michael Straczynski, published in 2010.
It seems Snyder's taking a lot of cues from that book, with Zod's plan, and this shot in particular, seemingly ripped from its pages.

5.Batter Up
Zod might be a recent visitor to the States, but he appears to have picked up their passion for sport fairly quickly.

But what's he hitting? Is it a baseball? Is it a shuttlecock? No, it's Superman. Final we get to see a fight scene in a superman film.

 

6.Super Lois

On first watch, this looked to be a shot of Lois Lane suiting up, just like her best friend Pepper Potts in Iron Man 3.However, a closer investigation reveals that she's only wearing the helmet, not the full battle suit. Is she about to take a trip into space? Actually, probably not - because if there's one thing Superman IV taught us, it's that humans don't need helmets in space. We can actually breathe perfectly normally up there. Who knew?this will be interesting to find out why she wearing this.

7.Super Snyder

absolutely love this shot. It's the moment where Snyder pans around Superman as he bursts out of one of Zod's ships.it look like synder has done some fantastic angles with the film to make it look real.

8.Zod Smash

Remember that bit in The Avengers when Hulk landed on a jump jet and tore its pilot out?
Well, Zod goes one better here, punching what he thinks is a big bird right in what he thinks is its stupid face.

 

9.Heat Vision 2

As one of our staffers said this morning, "Wow, I forgot that Superman did stuff other than punching and flying."Yep, he's got a boat-load of powers (his strength is the equivalent of 5.972 sextillion metric tons, fact fans), including heat vision, which appears to be something he uses only in anger in Snyder's universe.

 

10.Super Punch

Fans of Superman punching stuff will find plenty to enjoy in this latest trailer.
We can't tell which Kryptonian fighting style he's using here. It could be Torquasm-Rao or Klurkor. Then again it could just be punching.
